Reward Programs

University policy prohibits the use of reward programs for purchases because there is a potential for using reward points for personal purchases.  When making business purchases, reward points should be denied or refused.  The purchase of an Amazon Prime membership falls under rewards programs and is not an allowable expense.  Other examples where reward points may not be accepted would include Best Buy rewards, Hy-Vee fuel saver program, and Apple gift cards.
