UNI is moving from servicing the Perkins Loan program on campus to University Accounting Service (UAS) out of Brookfield, WI. This change will occur on July 1, 2015. Although you are always welcome to call or visit our office in Gilchrist 103, UAS will be the main contact for Perkins Loan borrowers. See below for more information.

CHANGE OF BILLING SERVICE
Effective July 1, 2015
The University of Northern Iowa has entered into an agreement with University Accounting Service, LLC (UAS) of New Berlin, Wisconsin to provide billing services for your UNI Perkins Loan. We are confident that the excellent service you have been accustomed to will continue with the change to UAS.
HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT DURING THE TRANSITION
- Effective July 1, 2015, please direct all payments, forms, and correspondence to: University Accounting Service, LLC

Milwaukee, WI 53201-3167 - Continue to make checks payable to UNI and put your same account# in the memo section.
- If you had bill-payments set up through your bank, those should now be set up to go to UAS.
- If you have been making online payments on the Heartland/ECSI website, the last date to make a payment on that website will be Sunday, June 28, 2015.
- Any previous ACH recurring monthly electronic payment arrangements made with UNI will no longer be in effect after July 3, 2015. You must re-establish your ACH recurring monthly electronic payment arrangements by going to https://www.uasecho.com beginning July 7, 2015.
FUTURE BILLS/PAYMENTS
- UAS will be providing billing statements beginning with payments due August 1, 2015. We will no longer provide coupon books. A billing statement will be provided to you monthly.
- Upon receipt of your first UAS statement, please verify its accuracy with that of your records. Any discrepancies can be resolved by calling UAS 1-800-999-6227. Your cooperation and patience will be appreciated while any discrepancies are corrected.
Log-in to your University Accounting Service (UAS) account for the first time (beginning July 7, 2015):
Go into www.uasecho.com and click on the button “Create an Account”.
